Landon often works as a grip and boom swinger for his dad's film equipment hire business. One day while recording sound for a test shoot of actors for an upcoming film "Spawn Of Evil Son's of God". A young actor playing the devils son, didn't turn up (a main role). Landon was asked to stand in just for the test shots. Landon ad libbed and did a quick script read. After viewing the footage the producers liked Landon better than the actor that was supposed to play the role in the film. The original looked and was meant to be a Jock bully type while Landon had that innocent boy look. In the end the producers liked Landon's portrayal.
