Adam White is a technologist, designer and researcher. He is one of the founders of Digital Matatus, a collaborative project with MIT, Columbia and University of Nairobi, to map public transport in Nairobi, and through this work, Nairobi became the first city in Africa to have a comprehensive digital transit map. Adam is principal at Groupshot, a. research and design firm that investigates technology adoption in informal communities around the world with a focus on start-up technology strategy and opportunity in Kenya. When not in Nairobi, Adam guides field investigations of emerging global ideas with students, VCs, and experts around the global.
