Alex is a board-certified physician specializing in diagnostic imaging and image-guided, minimally invasive procedures. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco & a graduate public health degree and undergraduate economics degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He currently is a Partner at. California Advanced Imaging, the largest radiology practice in California. He completed his medical training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where he served as the division's first Chief Fellow.. Beyond his clinical interests, Alex has professional interests in managing health care costs and streamlining & improving delivery systems. He has served in many of the highest professional leadership capacities, including board level service at the American Medical Association, Massachusetts Medical Society, and the publications oversight committee of New England Journal of Medicine. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs, the Economist, the World Health Organization, and is an advisor at Doximity, VideoMedicine, Optum, and AIM Health. He serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the Medical Corps of the United States Navy Reserve.
