Alex Santos is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fortress Information Security, a cybersecurity firm with a mission to secure critical infrastructure. Fortress has 45 employees and is based in Orlando FL, with locations in Columbus OH, Reston VA, and Boise ID. Fortress currently secures over 10% of the US power grid and critical assets.. Prior to founding Fortress, Mr. Santos was the President and Co-founder of Digital Risk LLC . Mr. Santos was responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s operations as well as executing the company’s growth strategies. In 2013, Mr. Santos sold Digital Risk to Mphasis, a subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard, for $202 million.. Prior to Digital Risk, Mr. Santos was the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations for Connextions Inc. At Connextions Inc., Mr. Santos was responsible for all aspects of the company’s supply chain business unit (manufacturing, distribution, and contract packaging), including information technology, operations, client service, and purchasing functions for major clients such as Mercedes Benz, Olympus, and Harcourt, among others.. Prior to Connextions Inc., Mr. Santos was a member of Ernst & Young’s Mergers and Acquisition practice serving Fortune 500 clients and major private equity firms. He worked on 60 transactions with a total value of $12 billion. Mr. Santos began his career as a financial auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. In 2012, Mr. Santos was named a "Top 40 Under 40" by Orlando Business Journal. Additionally, Mr. Santos serves as an officer of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Santos earned advanced degrees in Law and Accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Florida Bar.
