Entrepreneur and investor. Experienced Founder and general manager with a demonstrated history of working in mobile tech, health tech as well as the retail industry. Experienced in starting and growing companies in emerging markets especially in Latin America and Africa. 1 exit. Born in Athens, Greece, Alex studied at Princeton University, them. worked at Salomon Brothers Intl as an investment banker before obtaining his MBA from Harvard Business School. After HBS, Alex abandoned the corporate world to co-found an overstock retail chain in Guatemala, (Bazaar international, BANG!) which he exited in 2010. In 2005 he co-founded a telecom VAS company and in 2008 the Poulias Foundation. In 2016 he founded Doctor Online, a disruptive Telemedicine company. Alex is a professor at the UFM Acton MBA entrepreneurship program and a YPO member since 2011. Fluent in English, Spanish, Greek and French. Alex loves to sail, ski, scuba, tennis, golf.
