Adam Slater is a Director in The Glover Park Group’s Research Division. There he facilitates the research operations of GPG’s research, developing and managing vendor services in various quantitative and qualitative research modes. A trained focus group and in-depth interview moderator, Slater works to streamline research methodology, examines new. technologies and evaluates industry best practices, keeping GPG on the cutting edge.. Slater, along with the Research Division, carefully vet and select the firm’s research partners. An American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) member and Roper Fellow, Slater presented at the National AAPOR Convention on cell phone sampling in 2010.. Prior to joining GPG, Slater worked at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research (GQR) for 7 years. As the Director of Research Operations, Adam advanced the firm’s methodology in all research modes: phone, online and face-to-face, and sampling methodology for the majority of GQR’s clients. In 2012, he redesigned the research methodology for Democracy Corps and GQR national surveys. The research correctly predicted the margin of victory for President Barack Obama within 0.05%- the most accurate among any national pollster.. Earlier, Slater served in the office of former Congressman Steve Rothman as Field Representative and worked as Field Director on the Congressman’s 2006 campaign.A New Jersey native, Slater is a Syracuse University graduate with a degree in Political Science from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and is currently pursuing his MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
