Dotha was born into a great family, her mother, Dotha, was a school teacher, Who lived in Pasadena, California. Her father was Raymond Conly, Capt. L.A.S.D., who helped to get the famous motor cycle division commissioned. Her husband, Louis Hippe, was a very famous man, in make up. His father, also Louis, helped start make up by making false eye lashes, with Mr. Westmore Sr. She is also related to 'Syd Saylor', he is her cousin. He made over 200 pictures. Her breakthrough was as a hair dresser, in Hollywood, California where she was discovered by an unknown director. The rest is history.
