Christopher was discovered by a local producer while working at Blockbuster in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The producer offered him a job on a local science fiction film shooting in the area. He is the son of Lon and Teresa Mouhot. He has two younger sisters, Lindsey and Elizabeth. Christopher studied speech communications at Louisiana State University before leaving to pursue a career in film.
