Ahmed E. Hassan is the NSERC/RIM Industrial Research Chair in Software Engineering at Queens University. His research interests lie in the intersection of systems and software engineering. At Queen’s, Hassan leads the Software Analysis and Intelligence Lab (SAIL).. At SAIL, Hassan and his students are actively investigating approaches and. creating techniques to support practitioners who are producing, maintaining, and evolving large scale complex software systems. Their aim is to make the lives of these practitioners more productive, more cheerful, and more predictable.
