Jada Young was born in Lakeland, Florida. She is the second oldest of her six siblings, who she adores, and a first generation college student. At the age of 9, her mother relocated Jada and her then five siblings to Atlanta, Georgia, where she would transition from life in a small town to life in a big city. They weren't the wealthiest, so they often found themselves changing residencies, often twice in one year. As a result, Jada attended several schools during her childhood. After graduating from Charles Drew High School, in Riverdale, Georgia, in 2016, Jada went on to attend Hampton University, becoming the first in her family do so. She majored in nursing, but soon discovered Hampton wasn't the school for her. During the summer of 2017, she made a decision not to return to Virginia for school, and planned to enroll in a college closer to home; however, life took a drastic turn and Jada learned she would not be able to start her second year of college due to a financial conflict. She applied for numerous jobs, but had trouble obtaining one. Jada had always had a passion for being in front of a camera and decided to pursue modeling instead. In October 2017, after having a successful first time photo shoot, she submitted to be an extra in the film "The Hate U Give" and landed the job. Since then, Jada has worked on over 20 film and television sets combined, walked the runway in fashion shows, and has recently booked her first speaking role in an upcoming film.
