Alessandro Leonardi is the Managing Director and co-founder of ETIFOR | Valuing Nature, a spin-off company of the University of Padova (Italy) working on natural resource economics and development. He holds a PhD in environmental economics, and he is active at international level on several R&D projects to improve nature conservation policies. and tools (green taxes, carbon credits, public-private partnerships, etc.). He is founder and Director of the Nature-Accelerator, a partnership among universities and environmental business across EU and USA, to support and invest on green and circular economy startups www.ecostarhub.com. He has working experience in more than 20 countries, mainly Europe, United States and Latin America.
