Prior to working at Truffle, Alex Ouimet-Storrs was hired in the START program at Air Liquide SA and most recently worked as an Energy Manager for Europe, working primarily on physical and financial cogeneration plant optimization(800 MW in Europe). Alex has an extensive knowledge of energy markets and electricity production technologies.. Alex. graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a Bachelors (2004) and Masters (2006) in Chemical Engineering. During his time at McGill, he was elected a Governor for Graduate Student on the McGill Board of Governors and held several leadership positions in student government as well as Engineers Without Borders.. He also took part in two entrepreneurial ventures (one in IT and the other in media) and won the Quebec Entrepreneurship Competition for groups of 4 or more people in 2005.
