Alan Libshutz spent 24 years in the investment banking industry, where he served as Managing Director at Salomon Brothers, Inc. in charge of the Energy Group from 1972 to 1988; as Managing Director in charge of the New Business Group in the Merger and Acquisitions Department of Merrill Lynch from 1988 to 1991; and as Senior Managing Director in. charge of Energy and Project Finance Groups at Bear Stearns, Inc. from 1991 to 1995. Currently, Mr. Libshutz has been providing advice to Universal Lubricants and Warden, Pegasus portfolio companies, management teams regarding potential strategic and finance initiatives which could enhance both companies’ performance. Mr. Libshutz was also President of Sithe Asia Holdings, an independent power company in Hong Kong, from 1995 to 1998 and President and Chief Operating Officer of Changing World Technologies, Inc., a bio-fuels production company, from 2000 to 2006.
