Alexander Goldin is the founder and the CEO of Alango Technologies, a company he founded in Israel in 2001 to develop a new generation of front-end voice enhancement technologies. Dr. Goldin was born in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), Russia in 1959. He received his Ph.D. in physics and applied mathematics in 1990 from the Institute for. Analytical Instrumentation of the Russian Academy of Science. Dr. Goldin started being involved in acoustic signal processing at IBM Research Lab in Haifa (Israel) in 1994. He later served as Director of Voice Processing technologies at Altec Lansing Inc. Before founding Alango, Dr. Goldin served as Chief Technology Officer and VP of speech processing technologies at ALST, a joint venture between Altec Lansing Inc. and STMicroelectronics. Alexander is a happy grandfather of two.
