Adam Ray is the Chief Financial Officer for Songkick, the world's leading artist-ticketing and concert discovery platform. Songkick is currently ticketing in more than 60 countries around the world, reaching more than 15 million visitors every month.. Ray joined direct-to-fan ticketing platform CrowdSurge in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer,. and led several rounds of financing for the company. He was integral through CrowdSurge’s merger with renowned concert app Songkick in 2015, and currently plays a material role in Songkick’s legal strategy.. Ray has an extensive background in international finance and financial analysis. He spent several years in the finance industry in Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking Division, in the M&A group at Mitsui USA, and at Canyon Capital Realty Advisors, a Los Angeles-based hedge fund. He also completed two years fulfilling academic research in Economics at MIT.. Ray holds a Masters in International Relations from Yale University and a Bachelor’s degree from Amherst University.
