Alex joined the Virgin Middle East & Asia Group in August 2015, as CEO for the FRiENDi mobile Oman operation.. With over 18 years’ European telecoms experience in both consumer, wholesale and business services, Alex’s focus for the last 6 years has been the due diligence and execution behind building and managing MVNO operations in multiple. European and more recently, Middle Eastern markets. Prior to this managed network operator and Carrier Product Portfolios (e.g. Broadband, IPTV, Ethernet and MPLS services) and also ran Telecoms reseller portfolio operations and sales distribution structures in 18 markets across Europe.. Alex holds a BA (Hons) in History, an MBA from Henley Business School and is British.
