Allan Christensen is the COO at Doist, the remote-first company behind the popular task management app Todoist and the asynchronous team communication app Twist, which collectively supports 25 million people globally. Doist has been operational for more than 10 years now, employing 100 people in 39+ different countries.. Allan joined the company as. the second employee back in 2012. Over the years, he has worn many hats, doing everything from PR and marketing in the early days, to business development, to support and people operations. His experience growing the company to the global brand it is today prepared him for his role as COO, where he ensures Doist is hiring the right people for the right team, implementing operational controls and procedures, and ensuring Doist's financial strength for the long term.
