As an assistant professor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Aileen Gallagher teaches reporting, magazine editing and multimedia storytelling to graduates and undergraduates. She joined the faculty in 2010. Prior to climbing the ivory tower, Aileen was a senior editor for New York magazine online, where she shared several. National Magazine Awards with her colleagues, including one for General Excellence Online. She led the Grub Street Network of food blogs from 2007 to 2010; the flagship site, Grub Street New York, was a 2010 James Beard Award finalist..
