Mr. Albert González Alsina serves as a Managing Director of Riva y García Private Equity. Mr. Alsina serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mediterrània Capital Partners Limited and Mediterrania Capital Partners II. He is involved in the Private Equity department of Mediterrania Capital. He serves as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner. at Riva y García Gestión, S.G.I.I.C, S.A. Mr. Alsina has more than eight years experience in General Management on global and European basis and more than 14 years of international experience in a multinational environment. He also has several years experience in private equity and venture capital with Permira and Catalana d´Iniciatives. He was Advisor of Permira Advisers Ltd. Mr. Alsina was the Vice President and General Manager of VWR with CD&R for northern Europe heading the management buy-in and management buy-out in London in VWR International LLC for two and a half years as well as transactional experience in mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and business plans implementation. He was an Investment Director of Private Equity at Catalana d'Iniciatives S.C.R., S.A. Mr. Alsina González worked for nine years in General Cable Corporation (Industrial, Energy and Telecommunications), where he achieved the position of Vice President of the Telecommunications Markets, three years in Textron as Vice President and General Manager of TXT Power Transmission (industrial and engineering). Mr. Alsina González also held several executive positions in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Brazil, Germany, Zimbabwe, and Spain. Previously, he was the General Manager. He serves as Manager of Mediterrània Capital, F.C.R. He serves as Director of JP Industrie Sarl. Mr. Alsina González is also an Associate Professor at the business school of EADA in Barcelona, where he teaches in the International Master the subjects of “Private Equity” and “Management of Execution”. He holds degrees in Post Graduation in European Management from University of Poitiers in France, Masters in European Management from University of Fulda in Germany, Corporate Finance from Harvard Business School (EEUU), Operative Finance from London Business School, Global Leadership Program (AMP) from Wharton Business School, PADE (IESE), and Business Administration from University of Barcelona.
