Alexie is a keen bean for all things energy, having graduated with first class honours from a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Arts, and worked for one of Australia’s most progressive renewable energy retailers before joining Pollinate. She spent much of her uni years teaching ballet, travelling and volunteering in Latin America, and. coordinating projects with ALIV, an Australian based organisation working with asylum seekers, which somehow resulted in teaching Hip Hop on Christmas Island!. Alexie has also spent time directing the Engineers Without Borders’ Energy Hub in Sydney, and can often be found cycling and taking in the sights of her new hometown, Melbourne.
