Alex Derecho was named Senior Vice President, Global Service & Support at Harmonic in April 2015. In this role, Alex oversees an array of service and support programs, including system design, service deployment, technical support and professional services, which customers in 110 countries across six continents rely on to maintain media. infrastructures at every level of complexity. Prior to this position, Alex was Senior Vice President of customer services at BigBand Networks and Vice President of operations at Network Physics. Previously, he served as Vice President of global services and support at Harmonic and was the Senior Director of worldwide sales and services at DiviCom before the company was acquired by Harmonic. Alex holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.S. in Technology Management from Pepperdine University.
