Alan is an Investment Manager in the Aberdeen Standard Private Equity team. Alan focuses on buyout funds, co-investments and secondary investments. His fund portfolio includes a mixture of leading pan-European and mid-market Iberian funds. He is involved in all aspects of investing in these areas including sourcing, appraising and executing. investments as well as portfolio monitoring. Alan holds a BSc (Hons) in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh and is a qualified chartered accountant.
