Mr. Freeman is one of the founders of the company and has played a critical role in its formation and its upward momentum. Prior to forming Elmdale and Century 21 Affiliated Chicago, Mr. Freeman was a Principal with The Endeavor Companies where he originated and underwrote over $20 million of acquisitions and loan deals. He also served as Vice President and Principal at New Trier Partners, LLC, from 2005 to 2007, where he was responsible for the acquisitions of over $30 million of industrial real estate assets and the structuring of a private real estate fund committed to the acquisition of commercial real estate properties. He also oversaw property management activities for a 650,000 square foot industrial portfolio with New Trier Partners.. While a merchant banking and private equity professional at Babcock & Brown LP, Mr. Freeman sourced, evaluated and managed real estate and private equity investments and worked on a variety of M&A transactions and private placements of equity and debt. Mr. Freeman began his professional career in the Financial Sponsor Coverage group of investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette working closely with leading private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on a variety of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions, including leveraged buyouts and public offerings of debt and equity.. Mr. Freeman worked on transactions ranging in size from $5 million to $1 billion.. Mr. Freeman graduated from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M.
