Amir Handjani is a senior fellow at the Truman Project, a network of veterans and policy professionals dedicated to surfacing sensible national security solutions. Recognized as an expert on Iranian foreign relations, Persian Gulf geopolitics, and global energy security, Mr. Handjani has published extensively in Reuters, The Hill, The National. Interest, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg View, and Foreign Policy magazine, among other widely read publications.. In addition to his work with the Truman Project, Mr. Handjani is President of PG International Commodity Trading Services. PG International is instrumental in facilitating humanitarian trade into the Iranian market and imports essential agricultural commodities such as wheat, corn, raw sugar, feed grain and vegetable oil.. Mr. Handjani wears a number of other hats. He puts his wealth of international, legal and government knowledge to use as a senior advisor to KARV Communications. He sits on the board of directors of two natural resources firms: RAK Petroleum PLC, an exploration and production company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange; and Pt Capital, an Arctic resource asset management firm. And he continues to serve as an active member of the Atlantic Council Iran Task Force.. Amir Handjani began his professional career as an Associate Chief Counsel in the United States Department of Justice. After completing his undergraduate studies at Boston College, he graduated from Northeastern University School of Law with honors. Today, Mr. Handjani is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
