Al Scolari founded APS Imaging Solutions, Inc. in 1999 with the goal of providing the photo finishing industry with innovative photographic and digital imaging products. In 2000, he was awarded "Distributor of the Year" by Digital Now for being the most successful distributor of the Digital Photo Factory. In 2005, Al partnered with. Graziano Vitali to introduce and supply the Photostory line of products into the U.S. market. Photostory is an Italian based manufacturing company and the first automated binding system designed to produce high-end lay-flat photobooks for the professional photo finishing industry. Today, Photostory is the established leader in lay-flat technology, offering a full line of automated systems for the production of true lay-flat photo albums. Al graduated from California State University, Los Angeles, in 1986 with Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
