Amelia has been teaching for over 20 years and has always campaigned for greater access to technology, staff training and support. Many teachers are nervous about tech and schools find themselves in an untenable position where students are the professionals. However, much of what children are self-teaching is about being a consumer playing games,. watching media etc. Amelia has been teaching children to become the creators ' make apps, code games, compose music, mix videos and use tech to enhance learning and creativity. Her school is involved with a global network of teachers working collaboratively to engage children across the world in working and learning together.
