Mr. Huie joined Shaw Kwei & Partners in 2010. He started his finance and investment banking career with Salomon Brothers in New York in 1985, and then helped Salomon Brothers expand its business in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and China. From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Huie was the CEO of Vickers Ballas Hong Kong (since acquired by DBS Vickers). From 1997 to. 1999, he returned to Salomon Brothers as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for Asia. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Huie was Founder and President of Bizexpress International, a Chinese online hotel booking and air ticketing firm. Since 2006, he has been involved in the asset management business. Mr. Huie is a Director of QuantPlus Investments, Ltd, a quantitative based fund company in Hong Kong. Mr. Huie is also a founder and Board member of Green Global Investments, Inc., a US listed company primarily engaged in seniors housing. Mr. Huie received a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1983, and both a BSE degree from the Wharton School and a BA in Economics from the School of Arts & Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania in 1980 (magna cum laude). Mr. Huie was also a Senior Fellow at UCLA’s School of Public Policy in 1999. He was born and has lived over 20 years in Hong Kong.
