Allen F. Horn III holds a B.S. degree from Syracuse University (1979) and a Ph.D. from M.I.T (1984), both in Chemical Engineering. Before joining the Rogers Corporation’s Lurie R&D Center in 1987, he worked at Dow Corning on silicone thermoplastic materials and ARCO Chemical Company on polymeric oilfield chemicals. At Rogers, he has worked on. the development and testing of ceramic-powder filled high frequency circuit substrates. He is an inventor or co-inventor on 16 US patents in the area of high frequency dielectric materials.
