As the CEO of Calsense, A.J. has extensive involvement in all aspects of the business. A.J. began his career with Calsense in 2005, where he started as a software engineer. After 10 years of working in the engineering department, A.J. expanded his involvement within the business as whole and became President in 2016.. A.J. understands the ins and. outs of the product and the business; and he works tirelessly to support the Calsense team and our customers. On top of his unwavering commitment to Calsense, A.J. prides himself in his involvement in the local community, including educational and non-profit organizations focused on protecting the environment. This involvement includes teaching a course in water management at California State University, San Marcos and serving as a board member at ECOLIFE Conservation, a local non-profit conservation group. A.J. strives to share the message of sustainability and building a better future for our planet in his personal, professional and academic endeavors.. Outside of work, A.J. loves working on and expanding his impressive LEGO collection. At the end of the day, A.J. is a family man and enjoys watching his two young children grow up, which only further inspires and encourages him protect the planet’s most precious resource; water. A.J. is proud to lead Calsense and in all aspects of the business, including customer service and the company’s culture.
