Sun Myung Moon, who was born on February 25, 1920 in northern Korea when the peninsula was occupied by Imperial Japan, is founded and remains the head Unification Church. Moon wrote the theological textbook that is the basis of the church, "Divine Principle". In addition to his religious duties, he has founded many businesses, including News World Communications, a global media conglomerate that publishes "The Washington Times" newspaper. He was executive producer and helped finance the 1981 movie Inchon (1981) about the pivotal Battle of Inchon during the Korean Conflict.
