Alex Chee is a co-founder of Termina, a startup that provides applied AI for quant diligence across VC, PE and private credit, and a co-founding partner of Tribe Capital, a $1.6B AUM venture capital firm based out of San Francisco.. Alex led product development at Tribe to augment its investment decision making. His responsibilities as CPO included. instantiating, structuring and scaling new and existing products (e.g. Firstlook) that compound Tribe’s proprietary data set and ability to execute its early-stage investment strategies.. Alex previously led the product and engineering teams at Social Capital where he explored the application of technology as a force multiplier on critical parts of the investment and company lifecycles. Prior to Social Capital, Alex ran product at Joist, where he led the expansion of the residential contractor platform across North America (acquired by Evercommerce)..
