Adam Nelson has worked within the public safety wireless community for 17 years. During that time, he has been employed by a major city government, specifically as a Wireless Network Specialist for the City of Phoenix, Arizona, during the build-out of one of the nation’s first Project 25 radio systems. As a consultant for Federal Engineering, Inc.,. Mr. Nelson has worked on a variety of public safety/public service communications systems projects for governments at all levels. His expertise includes radio coverage modeling, interference analysis, spectrum-related issues, and geographic information systems (GIS). Mr. Nelson recently completed a Master’s degree in GIS from Penn State University.
