Amar Maletira joined Viavi in September 2015 as Executive Vice President and CFO, following a 14-year career at Hewlett-Packard. Maletira most recently served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Americas Enterprise Services business at HP, a $7 billion P&L entity, and held a series of executive positions in HP finance including CFO. for Application services business unit, Global Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, and Director of Investor Relations. Prior to HP, Maletira served as COO for a start-up IT consulting company in Michigan and led sales teams at Siemens and HCL in India.. He holds a B.S. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Karnataka University in India, and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
