A.J. van de Ven is the President of Calsense. He joined the company in 2005 as a software engineer, writing firmware for the ET2000 and ET2000e irrigation controllers.. Prior to taking the role of President, A.J. was extensively involved in all aspects of the business including engineering, sales, marketing, accounting, manufacturing, and product. support. As one of the company’s principal engineers, he not only helped bring the ET2000e and CS3000 irrigation controllers to market, he also worked on the Command Center software and developed the WeatherSense service which provides real-time ET and rain information to any location throughout the United States.
