Aaron Lamstein

In 1990, shortly after graduating from UCLA, Aaron co-founded Worldwise. He grew the company from a concept to one of the leading suppliers of environmentally responsible consumer products, selling over 100,000 products per day through 30,000 retail stores via most major retail channels.. During Aaron’s career, and the evolution through multiple. consumer product categories, he gained substantial experience across many core functions — including product design and development, manufacturing, distribution, sales and retail marketing. Aaron served as CEO until 2008 when he transitioned to Executive Chairman. In 2011 the company was sold and Aaron became a board member. While the private company doesn’t disclose their wholesale sales, they publicly estimated retail sales of their items at over one-quarter of a billion dollars annually shortly before the sale.. Aaron’s interest and expertise lies in what he has coined ‘Sustainable CPG’ (Consumer Packaged Goods) — the crossroads of game changing strategy, innovation, category re-invention and sustainability. It is the creative application of this combination — along with exceptional partners and a world-class team — that he primarily credits for his success.. His work has been featured in newspaper and magazine articles, television shows, blogs, web sites, radio programs, and business & college textbooks. Aaron occasionally writes and speaks to audiences as diverse as Walmart executives and top CPG companies, Stanford MBA students, Target hardlines Product Design & Development teams, and aspiring socially responsible entrepreneurs, among others.. Aaron remains committed to helping ‘change the world’ by sharing his passion & perspective with leading thinkers and innovators. He is Executive Chairman of Pawscout, sits on the Board of Directors of several innovative companies, and served on Walmart’s Environmental Advisory Board for five years.
