Alan Letzt

Alan Letzt is a healthcare-IT executive who specializes in the development and commercialization of advanced technologies that enhance patient-provider communications, patient self-management, and health education. He is the co-inventor of TELLYHealth (patent pending) and AccuNurse® (patented). Earlier, Mr. Letzt was the founder, President and CEO. of Adherence Technologies Corp. Mr. Letzt has served as the P.I. on 11 NIH R&D grants as well as grants awarded by the Institute for the Advancement of Community Pharmacy and the Department of Education on the following topics: hearing loss, Type 2 diabetes, HIV/AIDS, kidney disease, and polypharmacy issues. Mr. Letzt has worked closely with audiologists, physicians, pharmacists, administrators, nurses and nurse’s aides in settings such as: private audiology practices, home healthcare, health clinics, independent senior living, assisted living, and long-term care. He also received the prestigious Tibbetts Award from the SBA for his NIH-sponsored SBIR research and served as the President of the DC Society of Professional Engineers. Mr. Letzt earned his B.S. degree in Engineering (with a minor in Psychology) and his M.S. degree in Engineering and Entrepreneurship from Carnegie-Mellon University.
