Abdullahi Alim is the Head of Practice at The Lighthouse Strategy, a social impact lab empowering non-traditional voices to help solve longheld social challenges. In this capacity, he has worked with organisations including US Department of State, Google and the Australian Government to solve issues around radicalisation, racial disadvantage and. the migration crisis. To his credit, he was presented with the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Young Leaders Award and was crowned the 2017 WA Young Australian of the Year. Originally from Somalia, Abdullahi is currently pursuing graduate studies at Stanford University. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and a Bachelor of Science (Actuarial) for which he was conferred the Economics and Finance Head of School Prize.
