Amitava Das is one of the founders of Tagore in 2011, the CEO and a Board Member. Amitava has previously served as Director at both Maxlinear and at Freescale. Prior to those roles Amitava held senior engineering roles at Motorola and Freescale developing 2.5G/3G RF IC Circuits and Modules which shipped in large volumes in cellular phones.. Earlier is his career, Amitava was an Associate professor at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. Amitava holds a Ph.D., in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an M.S. in EE from University of Akron and EE undergraduate degree from Jadavpur University.
