Based in the UK, Alan has worked in the distribution and reseller channel for over 22 years. Running Sentryst and Fulcrum distribution for over 10 years in Ireland and the U.K. he and his teams sold premium security software, hardware and mainframe connection products to the reseller channel. He worked in partnership with several resellers and. their endusers to roll out complex security projects. He has been involved in several mergersand acquisitions, selling the Irish company to a competitor, also separating a company from its original parent company.. Alan has also worked for resellers selling IT to the education sector in the U.K. He also ran a consultancy service for IT vendors and resellers assisting them in sales, marketing. A closet techie, he is a Microsoft, Adobe and Apple partner. He studied marketing management in DIT and TCD, and holds a B.Sc. Mgmt. In his spare time he plays 5 a side football badly, watches rugby avidly and grows vegetables wildly.
