Prior to Cyient, Amara worked in ABB and L&T in various domain specific roles. His experience spans across entire electricity value chain. covering Generation(Solar, Thermal, Gas), Transmission (Substations, Switchyards & HVDC), Distribution and Smart Grid engagements.. He is an electrical engineer and has done Post Graduate Program in Management(equivalent to MBA) from Great Lakes Institute of Management, India.. He holds certificate in Smart Grids from Stanford University(SCPD), USA and also a certified Project Management Professional(PMP) from Project Management Institute, USA.
