Alden has been a principal in several technology-consulting firms, including USWeb. During his career, he has worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, Johnson & Johnson, Sprint PCS, Siemens, The Vatican, and Northern Telecom, among others. He has consulted on operations and finance to a number of small companies (pre. and post funding) in the information services, technology, and personal services sectors.. Alden holds both Bachelor and Master of Engineering degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
