As Squarespace’s General Counsel, Ali Kazemi advises the leadership team on a variety of legal and business matters, and manages Squarespace’s core legal functions, including commercial and technology transactions, litigation, and regulatory compliance. Prior to working at Squarespace, Ali was Associate General Counsel at Tumblr, a NYC-based. startup acquired by Yahoo, Inc. in 2013. Earlier in his career, Ali was a federal prosecutor in the National Security & Cybercrime unit for the Eastern District of New York, where he served as the District’s Computer Hacking & Intellectual Property Coordinator. Ali graduated with honors from NYU School of Law and Duke University.
