Amber Benson is a results-driven marketing executive and consultant with 15 years of varied and progressive experience in strategy development, digital marketing, e-commerce and corporate communications. Prior to Simpli.fi, Amber was the founder and principal consultant of Seamripper, a design thinking consultancy that provided strategic marketing management for early-stage technology ventures, healthcare companies, major retailers and leading marketing agencies. She is the former VP, Marketing for CLAD, a luxury menswear e-commerce concept launched by JC Penney and Esquire magazine.. Amber has extensive agency-side experience as a VP, Strategy at imc2 and Director of Strategy at Cadient Group. She has served in marketing roles for various successful start-up technology companies including Channeladvisor, SciQuest and Inlet Technologies. Amber specializes in purpose-driven and trust-based marketing strategies and is the co-author of the article The Value of Brand Trust published in the Spring 2013 issue of The Journal of Brand Strategy.. She holds a degree in journalism and political science from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Design Management from Savannah College of Art and Design.
