Right from an early age, he has been fascinated with films and always wanted a career in the entertainment industry, so he could watch films all the time. However he ended up in sales & marketing in the. construction industry.From neighborhood video rental stores to DVDs via mail, he explored all these businesses before the technological shift to streaming disrupted the whole home video market. The idea of Pickurflick originated when he noticed that content discovery & access to content outside the mainstream was not only difficult, but people were mostly unaware about the hidden gems of indie cinema. Abhishek is spearheading the overall product development, content strategy, marketing & operations of Pickurflick.
