Dr. Adam Burick joined the company in 2014 as chief medical officer (CMO). Dr. Burick is responsible for ensuring quality in all Post Acute's program, standardizing evidence-based medicine throughout all its hospitals and serving as the liaison between physicians and the executive team. A physician for nearly 21 years, he is excited by the. challenge the job presents.. In addition to serving as a physician advisor to a large hospital operations company, Dr. Burick was one of several founders of an ambulatory surgery center in the late 90s, and served as an associate director of a surgical teaching program. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Burick completed his internship at the University General Hospital in Clearwater, Fla., and served as chief resident during his surgical residency with Pinnacle Health Hospitals in Harrisburg, Pa.
