Adam Markin began as an Executive in Residence at Battery in 2010, working alongside the Battery Industrial Technology team to build a global platform in the industrial safety market. He is currently the CEO of Industrial Safety Technologies LLC which owns Gas Measurement Instruments Ltd, an acquisition completed in July 2011.. Prior to Battery,. Adam was the Vice President and General Manager of Scott Health & Safety, a division of Tyco International. There he led the global business to record revenues of more than $400M. He originally joined the business in the UK in 2001, leading the team through its sale to Tyco and was subsequently made Managing Director of the European division. Adam turned this loss making operation into a $90M business with 18% EBIT margins.. Earlier in his career Adam was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and also held senior roles within Scapa Group plc and Fort James. He has a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
