Aaron Roberts is an experienced Director of Accounting at Downtown Project in Las Vegas. As a Las Vegas native, Aaron is honored to be a part of the downtown revitalization and business development efforts that Downtown Project, founded by Tony Hsieh, is leading. In his 4 years at Downtown Project, Aaron has created an accounting department that. oversees the accounting for over 135 businesses ranging from restaurants, retail, commercial, residential, real estate, and venture capital. Aaron believes efficiency is key in his field and as such has led his team through a full implementation of NetSuite from hundreds of Quickbook accounts. Through these efforts Aaron has been able to increase accounting efficiency and substantially reduce costs for the organization. Prior to joining Downtown Project, Aaron established a solid accounting background by working at the well known online retailer, Zappos.com. He started as an intern with Zappos and grew into an accounting and systems role where he gained experience with numerous financial projects including development, programming, GL, Financial Systems, SQL and SAP.
