Ahmad Shukri has over 26 years of experience in banking and finance,focusing on areas of risk management and Islamic Finance.He is at present the Chief Risk Officer of Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad.Shukri holds a Master (Executive) in Islamic Banking and Finance from Asia E University, Malaysia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Adminstration majoring in Finance from Texas A&M University,Commerce,USA.. Prior to his current appointment, he was the Head of Risk Management , OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad from 2008 to August 2016. Prior to that, he holds the position of Vice President Retail Credit Operations at Al-Rajhi Bank Malaysia and Head of Credit Risk at Bank Muamalat Malaysia. He started his career in the area of Credit with Oriental Finance Berhad in 1991 and subsequently joined the the Pacific Bank Berhad in 1995.. Shukri is a member of the Finance Accreditation Agency’s Finance Accreditation Panel (FAP) and industy reviewer for the INCEIF’s Master in Islamic Finance Practice Risk Management Module.
