Filmmaker and composer Gabriele Saffioti, born in Rome, studied history and techniques of film language at Dams in Rome. In 2006, he graduated university with a bachelor's degree in Italian literature. Most of his production is characterized by horror and thrilling short films and soundtracks, especially inspired by the Italian gothic genre. Gabriele worked as cameraman and editor for independent productions of documentaries as well as renowned Italian TV reportages. He was involved in several music projects, the most important being the new wave-dream pop Sinking With Love and Pipe's Not Dead !, both in collaboration with his friend Massimiliano Nardulli, and the electro-synth pop project, Klonavenus. Since 2010 he lives in Berlin, where in 2017 graduated the Deutsche Pop Academy with a degree in camera and video editing.
