Antonis Kounellas was born and raised in Athens, Greece.He has a Bachelors in "Photography and Visual Arts" from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design School of Athens, and a Bachelors in "Cinematography" from Akmi College in Athens.Throughout his studies, he worked in the film industry, in more than twenty feature films in Greece and abroad. He filmed many short films which traveled to domestic and international festivals and received awards for Best Cinematography and Technical Excellence, while collaborating with acclaimed directors to create commercial films, music videos and TV mini series.
